The power of ignoring

Today we discuss attention. Paying attention. For our purposes we will define attention as energy. The Dog Whisperer has taught me that. Energy alone does exist. It’s not a physical manifestation, yet there is actual measurable energy, a vibration, a feeling-tone, or something that is real.

Attention – paying attention – is bringing more energy to whatever you are attending closely. Thus, one of my few finely-honed skills (ignoring stuff) can be shown to have value.

Some things you don’t want to have more energy. Cool, just ignore ‘em. Put your attention on something you want to become more energized.

Ignore-ance is bliss,

    Ignore-ance is indeed bliss.

When I use the word attractive also, in people terms, it is always defined by me as the amount of time that person attracts from me, for whatever reason.

I find many things attractive and many things to be ignored. Aint it wonderful being a Hooman Bean.

Caesar Milan is deity in my den!

    Truly, with unruly pooches.

Cesar Millan is the new Jesus. And it definitely wonderful, at times! Thanks Truly.

wow – now tell me… what do you do when what you are ignoring tells you to stop being rude?

it didn’t work out for me at work, so i had to zoom back into paying them attention again… apparently i ‘effect’ the ‘vibes’ of the ‘team’

    sigh

work would so much easier without the people

    hehe

Ha, that’s true, azyh. Unfortunately, ingore-ance is not a panacea. Good luck dear, and thanks for the comment!

      • LWIII says:

Sorry, Azyh, have to come back for a double-comment. To answer your question, you stop being rude. I don’t mean to advocate ignoring people. That is bad. Anyone with abandonment issues (that is, all men) can tell you how being ignored is more painful than one might think.

        Don’t ignore people, ignore problems.

  4. When I was still working for someone else, a colleague of mine, luckily not sitting right next to me, had a sign on his desk that read “I am not deaf, I am ignoring you!”. Here in Holland we do not use the expression “to pay attention” but instead, “to earn attention”. You might think that would put an end to, or never allow, top dogs to simply claim they’d earn it. Those things don’t change overnight. However they don’t stay the same either, forever.

    • LWIII says:

Top dogs will always be top dogs, compared to me anyway. I was thinking more about ignoring situations or events or problems than people, since I do think it’s rude to ignore people. Generally the way I ignore people is by leaving, however that’s not an option at work.

Knowing that what I focus and concentrate on will often manifest itself in unexpected ways, makes me very cautious about how I use my energy, physically as well as mentally. I have to remember that I cannot see around corners and want to always put my energy toward the highest and best good. You know, like wheelbarrows of 100 dollar bills being delivered to my front door, stuff like that.

  6. LWIII says:

I’ve never had that problem with manifestation. It doesn’t seem to matter what I think about, manifestation does its thing without me, although ignoring often seems to help something from getting worse. Maybe I’m missing something. Likely am. Thanks for the comment, FG!

  7. Darrelyn Saloom says:

Attention is something I need to work on. Ignoring, on the other hand, I’ve mastered.

  8. Morgan Ives says:

I wish I had mastered this skill. Sometimes I worry about what everyone thinks of every little thing I say or do to the point that I get cranky and neurotic. Ignore-ance doesn’t come easy to me.

Your explanation gives me a new perspective. I love how you explained it in terms of energy. I get that, because I’m a Dog Whisperer fan! I shall attempt it Cesar Milan’s way. It worked on my dog, why not me?

I would like to propose not to wait until you get enough amount of money to order all you need! You can just get the home loans or just consolidation loans and feel free
