Television vow

I am so tired of being a slave to things. Slave to this, slave to that, slave to the television. As of right now I vow to not turn on the TV for a single second in the next week. The next time it goes on will be at 1:00 am next Saturday morning, at the soonest, though it would be better if it was never on at all.

TV must die!

  1. So just to be clear: you’re both a lone wolf, and a slave? And what have you done with lone wolves I and II?

Yep, I’m a jack of all trades. It’s just a lark, Derek, lighten up. Good luck getting me to be clear. I’m not trying to be clear, just having fun and saying what’s on my mind. You don’t have to read it, you know.

Thanks for not trying to hurt my feelings, though. I appreciate that!

    Have a great weekend!

(Lone Wolves I and II were my daddy and grandpappy, fyi. They were capatured by Amazons and whisked away by aliens, each in their own turn. So now it’s just me.)

  3. Yes, but I do want to hurt your feelings. As you noted earlier, your criteria of judgment are felt rather than reasoned, so I figure hurting your feelings is the emotional equivalent of engaging in a rational debate.

  4. LWIII says:

    Give it a rest, junior.

  5. Really? Condescension? That’s what you got left? My tireless campaign is to convince all you interblog nurdlings to give it a rest. So please, be my guest, pappy.

The noble hurter strikes again. You may want to check your amygdala.

Have to mention I only made 5 days. “Had” to watch the Nuggets game. 5/7ths or 71% of vow completion is pretty good for me, though. Usually it’s closer to 0%, vow-wise.
