Twitter

Well, it’s official. I’m hooked.

Took a couple of months since I joined to get the hang of it. Twitter is a very confusing place for a beginner. Just doesn’t make any sense. Like waves don’t make sense to a beginning surfer. They just smash him around and throw him in the air.

But after a while, on Twitter, you start to see things. It’s almost hallucinogenic or mystical. You pull things from the vibration of the place. It’s linky, don’t you see?

And once you can see, you can ride the wave, balanced on top of movement: foot slide, shoulder swing, push, bend and turn.

Tweet me at TomYHowe. If the past couple of days are any indication, I’ll be there.

  1. It takes awhile using it to understand why so many others like it, but I had a feeling you’d get into it if you did sign up and stick around for awhile.

Yep. It’s very cool. One weird thing I’ve noticed is that if you have a question and ask it to the gang, nobody says anything.

And tonight all of a sudden, twice, nobody else’s tweets come through to me for quite a while. That ever happen to you?

Hey Jeanne! Yep, the gist, but still lots of mysteries left to clear up! Adding the quotes was one thing that helped. At least I had stuff to put in there, even if I’m not a internet cruising machine and had lots of interesting links to post.

    Wrangle on, O tweety bird!

    xoxo
