The meaning of words

Long have I pondered the meaning of words, long studied, sweltered, and split them apart. And I have come to an understanding. It depends mostly on which ones you use.

    they are kinda relative
people attach all kinda of things to words

    i find myself asking
“what do you mean when you say that?”
just to get some kind of clarity before I attach what i mean to the words said.

Howdy Bern, thanks for the comment! You are smart to get clarification about words. Communication can get kinda iffy wnen you only depend on words.

The best way to communicate is with hugs and kisses.

    Oh yes!
This resonates with me a lot (you know that already, of course). Words are important, they are our thoughts manifested, spoken or written, they are out there, not to be taken back, ever.
I admire the buddhist monks who go scilent many years just to gather enough energy to say something important. That ins the beauty of words and the importance.
It is equally amazing how some words, as common as they are, put together sometimes become immortal and carry their light thru ages.

Thanks Nono! As a sometime humorist I’m afraid I don’t attach the importance to words that maybe I should. I need to keep them light so they can leap off my tongue like sprites. I’m afraid if I attach too much importance to words I won’t be able to lift them. Whimsey needs light words.

And you’re right about how amazing it is that plain words, if put together rightly, can lift our spirits to the stars. I love words.

    Positive loveage, Tomwise,
