That new thing

Today it starts, the beginning of something. What that is I am not exactly sure, but in this neck o’ the woods, which is the size of a postage stamp, it’s big doin’s.

The mystic crystal spheres arrived, for one thing, and so did my present explorations into the secret ya yas of time and space. Electricheads unite!

I think it’s the Extracto, but my behavior has been becoming more like a grownup lately. I guess that’s good news. A person needs the ability to remain empty and be fine with that. Being empty is not really such a terrible state, being empty of food, empty of enjoyable emotions, empty of cigarette smoke, empty of pleasure. A good grownup knows that emptiness is a temporary state. To the infantile/juvenile it must be addressed instantly. Fullness is all. Not.

This I think is my favorite new “quote” from the Literarium:

We work in the dark. We do what we can. We give what we have. Our doubt is our passion, and our passion is our task. The rest is the madness of art.
