Hi World!

Yahoo! Finally, the last day I keep talking about what day it is! It’s been a week now since I started this, and I think that’s long enough to blab onward about the day in our burgeoning series. So today is day:

7

Oh macarena, I love that number. Always loved it the most of them all, even back when I only knew as many numbers as I had fingers. Not sure why, maybe because it looks so speedy and dashing, or the sound of it is so sibilant and evocative. Seven. Echos within numbers.

I hear it is considered a sacred number as well as a lucky one – apparently because it is a combination of 4, from the Four Horsemen of Notre Dame, and 3, from the number of Disneylands in the continental United States and Europe. Or something like that, I can’t remember.

A Note from the Author:

Dear reader (or Gabriel and friends, if that’s all who are reading it other than the planet itself), please don’t think when I’m being silly that I am trying to demean something. To me humor is not best used as a weapon, though it can be deadly accurate at need. I actually do believe 7 is sacred or special, just not sure why.

So, world, how goes your day? Is it sevenish? I know you like sevens, since you have seven seas, and the Seven Sacred Meridians of Hungooboobum running from east to east and west to west, if I remember correctly, though spiritual geography was never my best subject. Sending my love to all your meridians, latitude and longitude lines, poles, equators, and even stuff we didn’t write down.

Your brother in materiality,

LWIII

Aaah, the magic of seven… hmmm, let me think. Humor is not my strong side, Tom, so never mind, I probably don’t even get when you’re silly most of the time! (Now THAT was a joke! ;)

Back to seven. In fairytales there is a huge thing about them, isn’t there? There are seven bridges that need to be crossed, seven dark years that need to be lived through… there are seven mortal sins in the bible, and of course it took God himself seven days to create the world!

I had a look at google, numerology and the number seven. Oh man, you could spend a life-time getting into only one number, and there are so many!

A note from the reader: I love your sense of humor, Tom. The more absurd, the more it tickles me.

And last, but not least, congratulations! Day seven! Keep them coming, LW!

    Much love, as always,
    Gabriele

Thanks Gabriele, for the lucky discussion of 7! Maybe if we talk about it enough some of its luck will rub off on us!

Numerology is more of an interest of mine than calculus, but letters are still my fave.

Always lovely to see you here, dear.

    Love & Gratitude,

    Tom
