Hello World!

It’s 3:59 am on Saturday morning. Little dream gnomes and unconsciousness pixies are still crawling over my computer screen, but I pay them no heed.

Two days before liftoff. Fudging a bit here. Just pretend that today is two tomorrows away, if you don’t mind. Finally had to crash and burn way early last night, after a grueling few weeks of Photoshop, Flash, and HTML, and whining to my web guy, Steven Bradley, whom I would recommend to anyone who enjoys nice people, hard workers, forgiving souls, and competent coders: http://www.vanseodesign.com/

Hello world, you big wonderful spherical unit! So nice to meet you. Long time no see. Have to say I’m glad you’re out there and I’m in here, as there’s nary a speck of war, pestilence, riot, revolution, or starvation to be found in this little apartment. Especially not starvation, though I haven’t been eating quite so much since I lost that hole in my soul. Funny how happiness makes you less hungry.

Met my true self the other day. You know what he/I told me? “Let go.” Is that sweet or what? Thank you me. Sure is good to be friends with your ownself.

Since this is my first post maybe I ought to present some sort of mission statement, or why I’m here. My main goal – and what I have sworn will remain uppermost in my consciousness while writing these blog posts – is to refrain from offending or insulting my friends and family in any way, since I’m reserving that for elsewhere on the site. Secondly, it’s to promote Tom Howe as a writer.

I know, I wish he would shut up too, but what can a fella do? He is related after all.

I hear one is supposed to keep blog posts to a manageable length, as well as making them interesting. I can do short, though not sure about the interesting. Not for me to judge.

So that’s it. I love you humanity, so much my spirit sparkles. Thank you for being so wonderful. Maybe things will get better someday.

Your loving pal,

LWIII

    Tom!

Woo-hoo! Or better yet awwwooooo! (imagining the sound of a lone wolf howling his joy at the moon). Your child is born — and we are happy (I and the rest of your fans.) I’ve taken a look around and love it.
    your friend,
    Jim

Thanks Jim! You just made the first response I ever had. What a guy!

I didn’t think my installation of my mail thingie worked, but somehow Outlook knew you posted here and let me know. God bless you Mr. Gates, kinda.

So glad you like the site.

    Love & Peace,

    Tom

    Hi Tom,

I just had a look around. It’s great. I’m reading the chapter where Varko’s foot gets mangled by Tree, and came across your treehouse. Long live Stonebringer!

I especially like the Writer’s Den and the lightning flashes. I kept waiting for that guy outside the window to appear momentarily.

    Cool dude!

    Love,

    David

Thanks David! We’re still fumbling with that animation, trying to get the kinks worked out. It’s good enough for opening day, anyway.

    Love,

    Tom

    Darling,

Finally – I love your creation, so many different places and angles, also already so much to read and seek for.
My secret companion Horna is howling right back at ya all the way from Sweden.
I hope you’ll get really busy with this site and it will bring you joy and prosperity. My heart is very happy for this and for you.

    Hello my dear friend!

Thanks for popping in so quickly, Nono. So glad you like it. A lot of you in here you know.

Do have a bone to pick with you, sweetums. What do you mean Finally? Don’t you mean Already?

Sure seems to me it happened quick. But we are in considerably different time zones, so maybe that’s why it seemed like it took so long.

Howling for you as I always do,

    LWIII

    Tom,

Me again. Just checked out ‘Religious Brevities’ and loved it — that’s what I call ‘brief’. A white page of immense possibilities. No-thing! It’s perfect! (Of course, I expect that you will sully the whiteness at some point with pithy quotes and other ‘pointings out’ and that will be perfect, too.)

    Jim

  8. Tom Howe says:

    Jim,

It’s already sullied. You just have to find places in the whiteness where the pointing finger pops up and then click.

We do hope to not have entire browser windows to pop up, however…soon.

    Tom

Just adding my thought about that “Finally!” part… as you know, oh you wise one, how old are you anyways man? From your birth you were headding to right this point in your life so you may say Finally every single minute, if you wish, allthough it migt get akward after a while don’t ya think… burstin Finally every single minute is stupid, if you don’t wanna be stupid of course.
But since we are communicating about Finally or one might, as you point, say Already as well, it’s same for me, but Finally sounds more destiny filled than the cheerful Already.
Next year, or so I hope, you will burst: “Where am I?” just because this step you’ve taken has taken you to a place totally unknown. Oh, I hope you will also become to say: “Who the heck am I anyways?” some day soon. Sound and healthy in a brand new place bodily, mentally, physically, spiritually and innocence-wise, hope you’ll gain your innocense back too while ya at it Tom.

    heh heh
